Hello Chaps

I'm Looking for pop up sockets for a friends kitchen. My dilemma is, I don't want what is essentially an extension cable that I can power low power utensils off a 13A plug for ie phone chargers etc. I want a pop up twin socket on the kitchen work bench that i can incorporate into a ring main. The reason for this is because the kitchen is basically in a conservatory and there's no physical place to put install it.
Any ideas where i can purchase these or ideas that i can swerve this problem.:rolleyes4:

They're crap mate, don't touch them. They're nothing but a gimmick which is supposed to look good on an island unit but doesn't.

Talk your friend out of installing them.

The only attractive thing in a kitchen should be a woman, that's why they have little feet so they can get closer to the cooker and sink. :sifone:

I think there crap too. But i cant think of any way to have a socket to boil a kettle etc In a glasshouse there's nowhere to attach a back box unless i screw it to glass! obviously an extension cable wont do. I want a flip up twin socket to incorperate a ring main.

Should i call them Flip up sockets instead???

Presumably there is some kind of work surface on which to rest the kettle; would some kind of bench trunking be out of the question?

its a strange one this... having full kitchen power potential without using those crap extension pop up sockets, in a place where its impossible to attach anything to any walls!!
