Currently a trainee..

Looking to send power to my shed and currently planning...

I'm looking to have a second cu in the outhouse and understand I have to dig atleast 600mm deep...

Anything else that I need to consider or be aware of?

You should really have the knowledge to be designing and installing this in full compliance with BS7671 including the knowledge and equipment to test your work fully. This work should also be notified to building control depending on your location.

If you are in training you can apply to the trainee forum where you will receive help for your queries.

As you are a trainee then it's best for you to learn, so:
What else to you think should be considered when designing a circuit? Lets see your thoughts about this.
 
Its actually quite scary the amount of jobs over the past 2 decades where I have found cable buried less than an inch or so under the ground. But only ever had one job where an unsuspecting home owner has put a shovel straight through a buried swa , at least it made sure the mcb was in good working order....
