Discuss Pressure relief valve and pressure relief device in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

Thought a pressure relief was a bursting disk which vented rapid gas build up due to a fault, whereas a Buckholze Relay (check spelling!!) was used to shut the transformer down when a fault condition occured within the transformer due to the rising pressure generated.

It was a long time ago when I did this :)
