Hi all, thanks for all your help yesterday :) now I've established I can test and sign certs I have a query regards ££££:-

I have quoted £150 to test a unit and supply a certificate.
This consists of:-
1 ring main test
2 lighting circuits
Radial circuit per unit.

What do you think guys???

No experience of pricing so guidance appreciated. Cheers

if you are doing several units, you could perhaps reduce the per unit cost a bit. say £120 if you can do 2 in 1 day.

A good pricing structure that I heard about
40 mins per circuit
40 mins per dist board and times your hourly rate

Your 5x40 mins =200 mins or 3.5 hours at say 30 per hour £ 105
The price you quoted should make it well worth your whileY

Is this to issue a EICR or EIC.. First one would be have ever long its going to take you. As above charge per curcuit..

If its EIC. I would quote £2k.. Just as I dont sign off other peoples work..
