Hello my fellow sparks,

Was hoping you guys could pass on some of your sound advice.
I've just got a nice little private job for my own business testing a bunch of commercial coffee shops. No problems in doing the work my question is what would you say the going rate for this would be? I have seen some sites that charge per circuit and others at a set price, not knowing how big each coffee shop is I would not like to put down a set price for all as I'm sure you guys understand.

So any way chaps could you throw me some prices that you would charge in this sector of inspection and testing.

Thanks very much for your help and I look forward to your reply.

they may want you to work out of hours. i would give them a price per circuit, but allow for the fact that some installations may be a bit rough and take longer.

They are happy for price work to be done. What about £10.00 a circuit up to 20 then maybe £8.00 for 20+ circuits??
that sound fair or too high?

The location of these shops may also influence your price , IE parking and distance to the property. A viewing to find out how many circuits there are would be helpful as you could end up out of pocket . Tel is on the mark I would say but you need to make your minimum day rate to make it worthwhile.

I agree, its important to cover youself against the time lost on that nightmare installation thats just around the corner. As tel said, £20 per circuit seems appropriate.

£15 SP, £20 TP.... or maybe £18 per circuit average with a minimum fee of £200
