Depends if you want to pay or not, if you don't mind paying, some say local trade magazines work well for trades like plastering, sparks, chippys etc, but not always, I know a few people who swear by our local trade mag so have just put an advert in myself to see. Google is your best bet, in the natural free listings, get a website, a free business listing, that will help. Unfortunately it takes time to build up a client base and nobody has a magic answer. You could try getting in with some plumbers, kitchen fitters etc, or even approach some local estate agents, just let them know who you are and what you do, it all helps.

I'm assuming you are employed as a spark - if so what does your contract say about doing work on the "side"?

Are you insured? If you’re not, you’re on a sticky wicket.
