Went to have a look at changing an mcb to rcbo today for another Bathroom fitter and was presented with this lot,it’s had solar panels (that’s the mcb with the interesting bus bar link) and also a new boiler fitted in the last year, second pic is where the main bond was shortened to provide (I’m guessing) supplementary to the kitchen sink,first one.......you know

Is that MCB feed wire just touching against the bus bar? Can't believe even a bodger would leave it like that.

Ha ha no I removed another mcb just to see what was going on, that’s how the solar installer fitted it though

You could have left the MCB in mate......pretty apparent what was going on I'd say

Yeah true,but the mcb I removed wasn’t in use so I moved that one over anyway....
