Problems upgrading ecs card.

Hi all, I am currently updating my ecs card from apprentice to electrician. However when going through the application online it says I must supply a copy of my JIB409 form. I’ve never seen this jib form before but I’m aware you can download the form of jib’s website, but who do I get to fill the form out? Thanks.

Having just looked at the form... isn't it more a question of who will sign it ? Maybe ask someone at the company you did your apprenticeship with ?

Thanks for the reply zerax, that’s what I thought and have tried uploading it multiple amounts of times with the company directors signature, but for some reason it keeps getting declined.

Sounds like a format/size issue to me...

It’s an employer endorsement so should be signed off by the company you did you apprenticeship with. I have seen people do this with PDFs and jpeg files so shouldn’t be too difficult. Have you spoken to ECS yet?

I had the same issue when I applied for my first card last year.
I completed my JIB apprenticeship in 2002. The JIB would not except my formal letter and certificate from when i completed my apprenticeship.
I had to download this silly JIB409 form from their website then contact JTL and get someone who works there to sign it, stamp it a post it.

The ECS website then screwed up so I couldn't upload it. Ended up ringing the the ECS and mailing that document separately..
It was a pain in the Aaaarr.
