puzzler?

How do everybody.
Have a question i'm hoping somebody maybe able to answer or point me in the right direction.

I need to run a low voltage supply under ground, either 12vdc, 24Vac, or 110V centre tapped 55-0-55.
My knowledge and informaton regarding regulations is old and limited. is there anybody with any knowledge of the required
installation requirements for a supplies of this nature.
The question does not require any debate of amount of available power or functionality as i am quite aware of the physics of it.
its the question of the method of installation.

Apart from the obvious,choosing correct size cable for volt drop etc,all you need is to bury the armoured cable at a suitable depth to prevent damage from digging,on a sand bed with a layer of sand on top followed by sieved earth a marker tape and finally fill trench to top,if not using an armoured you could bury a duct instead and run cable in that.

300 ok for paved,personally 2 spade depths if in an area likely to be dug

300mm if under a paved area/path within a duct!! There is no guarantee that the paving may be removed at a later date!!

i'd bury at 18" whether paved or not, and put in a duct with a draw cord for added protection and gives the opportunity to rewire or add cables without re-digging.
