I did an apprenticeship when I left school. I have the c&g 7671 level 3 in requirements for electrical installations along with a few other certificates from college.
I've been in the forces 8 years working on electrical systems so I'm still 'in touch' with engineering.
I'm looking as courses to allow me to get a job when I leave.
There are so many out there.
If someone could suggest which courses I need to do.
My plan is to work for someone for a year or so to get back into it then go out on my own.

Any advice would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance

Aaron

next year ( when it comes out ) go for 2382, wiring regs 18th edition. then perhaps 2391. you may be able to obtain JIB card through their mature candidate scheme.

don't be tempted by these short course ( 5 weeks or so ) domestic installer pseudo qualifications. waste of good beer money.

Thanks for the advice, I thought as much! Seem to be a lot of companies out there selling Mickey Mouse courses!
