hi guys been using a home made intermediate switch and a drilled plug top for r1 r2 testing on rings. does anyone know if I can buy manufactured versions of these and where?

don't understand where you're coming from r1,r2,rN are measured at the CU, end to end of the ri if you mean R1,R2,Rn, then you would use a break-out box, as said by sjm

yes sorry meant when cross connecting L and N and its not obvious at the db put them into a homemade unit which connects them either way test at sockets and if readings not as expected you just switch it to the other position

Ill just get some jump leads. but sometimes it handy to have the switch when rings are wired in singles and yuo cannot identify which to cross connect. thanks anyway

I use the lever Wagos at the CU when making cross connections for measuring r1,r2 and rn.Only really able to do this with the twin and earth rings. The idea of a home made intermediate switch with a plug sounds like a useful idea when working with singles. How is it put together and how do you use it.?
