What readings would expect for the wandering lead method whilst testing from the consumer unit to the sockets, would you expect in the region of less than 0.10 ohm?

What cable is used? Is it a RFC or a radial? whereabouts are you expecting to get this <0.1 ohm reading and why mate?
so from yesterday, we can deduce that the fault is on the live or R1 part of the circuit giving you greater than 200 ohms overall.yea its a ring final but the conduit is the CPC and once ive deducted the resistance of the "wandering lead" im getting less than 0.10 ohm for the resistance of the conduit, does that sound right?

different circuit now
you didn't mention yesterday it was a ring final. Have you taken all the socket fronts off?
did you u fix the other one?
i'l chance it and say yeah, sounds about right. You're spending some time testing this house!
yea, well let me take a pull of this here spliff while i think, nahh, bad weed, poor joint somewhere.
so what your telling me thats too low a reading is it??
come on kev, low readings are what you want on R1, R2 testing. Think back to your time in college, ohms law and all that.
