Discuss RCD for garden lighting? in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

Does fixed outdoor lighting need RCD protection? There is an existing exteria wall light on the property and I want to use the same switch and fuze for ground level spot lights. Can I do this without putting in an RCD - to be in keeping with the 17th edition?
