Hi, does anyone have a source (legal) for a housing similar to the ones used by the supply provider (Scottish Power) I occasionally need to install a RCD in line with the CU and can only find the Hager 2 module unit which is a pain to fit the 25mm tails?

there are quite a few enclosures that will fit RCD or 2 pole isolator which readily accept 25mm tails. shop around.

Damn, I hate those illegal RCD housings. :smartass2:

why not just hang the RCD on the tails and wrap a few turns of duct tape round it? OOPs, for a moment i thought i was on the plumbers' forum.

Wylex REC 2 module main switch unit. Throw away the main switch and install RCD. The unit is designed to accept tails. I buy mine from Wilts.
