Hi

Whats the method for testing RCD's at the consumer unit (as opposed to plug/socket method).

I have a Metrel MI3000 Easi Plus tester which is either 2 or 3 lead tester.
 
Green lead on earth bar and red lead on the line terminal of the load side of RCD, press button and waits for it to finish the tests.

Thats how its done on a Megger 1552 anyhow.
