Discuss Rear Cable Entry Wall Lights in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I've bought some wall lights for my garden but they are designed for cable rear entry - no slots at the bottom to feed a cable through.

How do you suggest doing it?

Going to be fed in flex clipped to the wall.

Do you chase out the mortar between two bricks and feed up through there or.....?

Apologise for the amateur question, it's not really my thing

Cheers :)

i chase out a couple of inches of mortar. get same problem with welcome lights at front doors. make sure cable entry is from the bottom.

Thats how I have done them before, but wasn't sure if anyone else had any other ideas - slimline adaptable boxes for example. Although I think that would look "not too great"

Sorry it wasn't in reply to you, and I've edited it now anyway as it wasn't really required.

Thanks for your response.
