Hi guys
Do recessed ground spot lights need to be 12v or are they ok 230v due to ip rating, also why do some led lights instructions say wire in series and some say wire in parallel, can imagine its quite awkward wiring these lights in series with swa
 
depends on the LED's some are constant voltage (parallel) some constant current ( series )
SWA ok , use IP54 boxes ( such as wiska )
