The OD is also a lot smaller.whynot use MICC. plain copper with copper p clips. looks great on old buildings.

I'm not aware of any paint, that would adhere to rubber, over time at least?

why would you use p clips with rawlplugs when the 18th says not to?If the cable in its entirety is to be painted in then I would just use 'white' Pclips plugged and screwed

it was decided ages ago that a plastic rail plug and suitable screw was a perfectly acceptable method of fixing
