I take it you mean the mechanical side of this opposed to the controls side

Well refridgeration is a trade and you say air conditioning but I take it you mean air con that is tied in with refridgeration ?
I worked in facilities maintenance but specialized in BMS HVAC controls hence why I ask I take it its the air con side you want to get into ?

Preferably both as there is bound to be a call for both services, refridgeration wise I want to be able to install and repair commercial fridges/cold rooms etc. Air con wise again I want to be able to install and repair the commercial side.
What qualifications do I need to get for HVAC

if I had to chose one or the other I'd rather do refridgeration, I've always wanted to specialise and thought 1 of these would be ideal.
