Just wondering what kind of questions I should expect on my on the phone and practical assessment when registering with NICEIC. Anything in particular or just depends on how the assessor feels on the day? Cheers

Just do the things he asks you, it's never anything challenging. He may ask you a few questions that will get you thinking, but nothing to deliberately to make you look like an idiot.

If you try to fluff and bull around answers he will pick up on it. If you don't know the answer, tell him you would like to consult your book.

It's not difficult, just be normal.

Q1: Is there money burning a hole in your pocket?
Q2: When can we arrange a meeting to come and relieve you of it?
Q3: Got Any biccies?

Questions will vary but tend to center around the application of the other parts of the building regulations to electrical work, earthing arrangements, Zs, Ze and protection of cables.
