Hi All
got a pool & hot tub job to do, the hot tub is within 2M of the pool and each will have their own 10mm swa(unsure of loading at prescent) supply. Going to make them TT 20ohm i believe
1 - can i use the same rod/mat for both supplies ?
2 - should i bond the reinforcing of the pool and hot tub slab ?
not done a pool before any help much appreciated
John

might be wrong here, as it's a bit outside my scope of in-depth know how, but using the rebar as part of your TT earthing maight be good.

ok dave its 20ohms or less so what about the other points

Why do you need to make it TT

You'd be better running a single submain to a location to feed both and having multiple deep rods to provide the earth if TT is required.

Include the rebar in your earthing as an earth electrode if you can.

Hi dave
supply to house is tncs and the original spec was for a hot tub so put a sub main in for hot tub then they decide they want a pool as well , unsure of total loading so went for two submains

Dave its going to be TT because if there's a break in supply neutral then supply earth could be at a different potential to main Earth
