I have an octal base 11 pin relay RS, from a boiler installation strip out. I dont use these in my every day work and am just curious as to the rating label. It states 230v 14mA.
Could someone please enlighten me to what this refers to.

More than likely the coil voltage and current. The contact are usually rated 5 to 10 amps
 
As above,, theres No way they would make a relay raited at 14ma for the contacts (unless it was tin foil) so this is no doupt the coil raiting. unusual to see the current raiting of the coil on it though...
