Discuss Removed alarm, confused by wires!! in the DIY Electrical Advice area at ElectriciansForums.net

The cables in the first picture. What were they connected to, was it a switch of some sort?
 
You are not making this easy.

I guess all of those seven wires were attached to the transformer (marked Wye Winding Co)? Is that right?
If so, how?

Also, show us the connections to the switch in the loo.

I guess there is a fan in there too that doesn't work?
 
:/ they were, both in and out via this connector to the lhs of the Wye unit, and the cables to the pir’s came out the right.
There’s no fan in there. Photo of switch also inc.

We moved here 10 weeks ago so don’t have any history on the install :(

@Carlashton it is not possible from afar to advise how to reconnect those cables and even if it were possible we could not assure it would be undertaken in a safe manner. You require the services of an electrician and for this reason I am closing this thread.
