Yes you can replace the coker with a sock plate which brand will you be useing pringle socks are ok ,it will slip over nicely, there might be a sock plate behind the gas cooker you could fit a sock their has well .
Not sure they need to have 2, but with Click Mode it's pretty straight forward.Good luck getting 2 x 6mm cables into a 2G socket...
If one is the outgoing to the cooker outlet plate then you don't need to.
