Discuss Replacing a light switch in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Welcome to the forum mate.
Most light switches are 10A rated. Most light circuits are protected by a 6A breaker.
You should be ok with a standard light switch.
Is there anything out of the ordinary with your original lighting?
Are you just switching a standard light?
