Hi, looking for some advice...

...I have been to look at a job where the current consumer unit is an old Crabtree C50 flush mounted type! The customer would like this replacing with another flush type consumer unit! Now I know wylex do a consumer unit which actually fits inside the old C50 box but I cannot find one anywhere! I have come across a couple in the last few weeks but they don't have a model number on! I was wondering if anyone has any ideas!

I have found some skeleton units but not sure if these are the correct type!

Thanks in advance!

It will indeed probably be a skeleton type arrangement, that fits into the existing CU box. Contact Wylex to get the appropriate part number. While your at it, contact Crabtree as well, they too will probably have a similar unit, if Wylex are supplying a modern up-grade for a competitors product!!

I'm guessing it will be a very similar arrangement to the skeleton units used to upgrade the old council house Mantel cabinet CU's, where the DNO's cut-out and meter was also housed.
