Hello guys

I need to replace some push buttons wired in parallel with wall mounted PIRs.
Currently there is no neutral in place at the push buttons and I have been told the battery operated wall pirs are no good?
Is this true and if not can someone recommend something?

I normally take out the push buttons and replace fittings with an integral microwave sensor but they don’t want the lights changed

There are PIRs that don't require a neutral, whether they are suitable would depend on how much load you are talking. A search for "PIR no neutral" will give you some options that might work for you.
