Has anyone ever had to replace an underfloor heating temperature probe?

I know there supposed to last but if one ever did fail I can't see how it can be replaced, it comes with a length of flexible conduit, easy enough to pull the old one out, but would be a nightmare slide a new one in..... Wouldn't it?

cur length of nylon conduit fish to suit, tape on to new sensor, push in, abandon fish
