Hi All

This is my first post. I am very novice around home diy electrical work. I can replace sockets and light switches and hold degree in computer science.

I recently purchased a new thermostat for my underfloor heating in the kitchen (warmup 4ie). It is to replace an old thermostat.

I wanted to get some advice before I try to attempt this myself

The above picture is the old thermostat.

this diagram is the wiring of the warm up 4ie which would be the new thermostat.

my question are:

- looking at the first photo I would be putting the brown wire into connection 2 of the the new diagram?

-And the single blue wire neutral in first photo into connection 3 of the diagram?

-The other two blue wires in first photo neutral would go to connection 4

- the two black wires (live) in the first photo It would go to connection 5?

-the final question is the thin wire in first photo which is the probe sensor would go to connection 7?

I just need confirmation that I am on the correct path. Obviously I will ensure the electrics are of on the main switchboard.

Many thanks

James
