Discuss rewireable fuses in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Local Independant wholesalers are more likely to have fuse wire than major chains.

If it's a Wylex board then there will still be some with complete Wylex 3036 units knocking about, or else bs1361 or mcb plug in replacements will be available.

Anyone who does fuse box replacements will likely have lots of these - I keep a selection of nice looking ones, generally ones that have never actually blown, as far as I can see.

Does it have to be a rewirable fuse? If it's a wylex job they do retro fit breakers that fit into the fuse carrier.

not a clever idea just fitting one as the spark cover cannot be fitted over the rest of the fuses unless of course you can cut the slot out without breaking it leaving the cover off exposes the terminals on the bottom of the fuse carrier , its only a small hole but its there on most of the rewire-able boards

Spark cover?

It's only the metal clad boards that have a big gap around the fuse bases when the fuse cover is removed, the plastic ones fit tight around the fuse bases.
