Evening ladies and gents. Can someone cast so light onto this conundrum. The JIB have for sometime documented that the route to become "qualified" is by obtaining the NVQ L3 as the industry standard.
My qualifications are older and I don't have an NVQ L3. I gather that since that is the case I now need to go down the experienced worker route to complete the NVQ and do the AM2E, to get your gold card.
BUT...... the ECS website says your eligible for a gold card if you have QS status. So my question is what's so different if you have QS status? I have enquired with the NIC and they have said bar the assessment, I meet the criteria for QS status. So if that's the case why is it different for people who haven't got QS status??
