ring circuit reading?

hi guys , just testing a kitchen ring circuit.
r1 1.6 ohms
rn 1.6 ohms
r2 2.1 ohms
the kitchen is a 2.5mm ring but has spurs in 4mm cable and one small leg in 4mm (must be what was left on the van )

upon checking a figure of 8 test , im getting 1.6ohms when i was expecting 0.8ohms

have i missed something here or is the tester on the blink

Yeah, 0.925 would be expected value. Assuming zero'd ok? Maybe leads are worn.....
