Hi,

We live in a new build property which is nearly two years old. Currently have a mains powered Doorbell Deta C3501 with built in transformer.

Have purchased the above Ring Doorbell Pro and need some help installing it. The current setup has power brown/blue going into a connector block on the Doorbell. The push button is using some Cat5e cable going to the outside button.

It shows Deta C3501 A/C 220-240V - 50hz

Image attached.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

I think the voltage required is AC but that existing door bell output is DC.
I am sure you need to purchase the extender chimer and also keep your battery charged at the door end.

get the wifi extender chime and a 2nd battery

Thanks can I just use the power from the existing doorbell?

The Ring Doorbell Pro doesn’t run off battery only mains power....
