I carried out an EICR in this flat above a shop.
Incoming supply is old, single insulate tails (fabric covered stuff) possible double pole fusing, and service fuse carrier is really loose on a badly finished wall. UK power networks are saying its not their responsibility as they only take responsibility up to the incoming fuse. So who would have installed the second fuse? I thought risers were usually adopted up to the service fuse?

Supplier say its not their responsibility either, only the tails between the fuse and meter.
DNO have said to use a contractor on the Lloyds register which Ive never heard of.

Pics attached.
Are they correct?

Someone on this forum has done a lot of research and had return correspondence with DNO’s reponibilities.

It was quite interesting and informative.

Can’t remember who it was or what the thread was titled.

Are you out there?
Can you add to this thread?

This was it. I think it was vort, but his name seems to have been changed to ghost and I cannot get access to ghosts profile or any information at all.
Has vort left?

Pretty bad,no one taking responsibility, can’t really touch it can you,so leave it,you informed them so be it.
But its failing the EICR & they're not taking responsibility. If they said "yea, we think its ok" I wouldnt even be asking on here lol.
Landlord is trying to move new tenants in cant without a SAT cert.
