Hi forum, has anybody on here had an issue with the rolec 1 way 16amp touring outlet isolator?
The isolator does not operate when the 16amp plug is inserted as the plug does not appear to push the interlock far enough back to release the isolator.
Out of six units 3 do not work.
Any feed back from installers of these would be great thank you.

Are the units the ready built ones from Rolec, or did you add the sockets to an existing box?

If they came complete, get rolec to fix

Otherwise can you cut a few mm off the end of the socket to let the plug push further in?

Yes they are the ready built ones from rolec but after contacting them twice now there customer service appears a bit lapse,
I was just putting the issue out there as they must sell and produce a lot of these units as they have changed them to comply with the 18th edition, and previously I have installed the non isolation version with no issues.

Yes, it does not alter the supply arrangement, but it would not be very good for charging your vehicle in the day lol..
