Hi All. I am wiring a loft conversion and want to avoid covering cables in the insulation. I can clip the cables to the studs on the other side of the wall in the zone parallel to the socket outlets. Is this sensible thing to do or would you rather run in the holes through the joists and apply derating factor of 50%?
