Discuss Ryefield board prices in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

That is trade price, when you start spending money with wholesalers you will see the benefits, when you just buy the odd bit here and there you will be treated like a member of the public, I would pay 850 plus vat for a 24 way metal board fully loaded and 700 for plastic, that is what we tradesmen pay max, the one man band/ man in the street would pay double that.

This is for a block of flats I'm doing ATM...1st phase of 19 flats. In total 72 flats and 17 houses so don't really just buy the odd bit here and there #2 lol.
Okay joking aside, you can get them for around £1,250 plus vat, that said there are other similar looking boards available which are cheaper, not as thick regarding the casing though but okay, as you are doing 72 flats you are obviously VAT registered, so are you talking about 1700 with Vat? I assume so, so the VAT isn't an issue for you is it?

Yeah £1700 inc VAT, also I am VAT registered so the VAT isn't an issue just included it in the Price in the OP....will have a look about and make some enquiries to see how much I can get it for and will post how much on here :smile5:

I like the Lucy board that got mentioned In another post but Ryefield is what has been specced by the client for the job so got to use it plus it's whats UK power networks prefer.

TBH I have enough room in my price to spend £1700 on the ryefield as looked in to it a little when quoting but that would just be bad business not to see if I could get it a little cheaper somewhere else lol.
