Ryefield Query

Hi all,

Been asked today to quote for installing a Ryefield board which will in turn supply 1 x shop with 3 phase power and also 3 x flats with single phase power.

My question is... Would the DNO connect directly into the Ryefield board or will they expect some form of isolation which I will then need to take tails away from?

Normal set up would be DNO main meter main switch fuse to Ryfield then Ryfield to independent unit/flat meters then to isolators for independent units/flats.

Check with the particular DNO what their exact requirements are, they usually have an information/specification sheet they can send to you.

Usually, switch-fuse with meter tails into the cutout. From the switch-fuse to the Ryfield. But as Dave has posted contact the DNO.
