Yep Scantronic is ok I service repair them but do not use as the majority of my customers just want simple and easy other than that they are a major supplier / manufacturer .The only thing to look out for is that when you enter the engineers code you have to remove the CP cover to activate the tamper spring other than that good luck

can't go wrong with veritas 8 by texecom. or for a bit more sophistication, the gardtec 595 from risco.c..uk
 
I've fitted 3 units myself all from watching a first timer wire his unit up with no guidance other then the manual... Programmed all 4 with no problems, and have never personally had any problems with any of the units Ive worked on...

Looking to upgrade mine soon - looking at the 9751 or 9752 with the 9954 personally...
