I try not to go anywhere near anything with Schneider on it. Any company that can put this on their PV cubicles at solar farms should be avoided

And yes, I did work for them

i was going to buy one of them schneider kits, but realised it didn't have a neon screwdriver, so sod it.

I wouldn't be putting those cheapy AA batteries in any of my kit either!!

I hate everything about Schneider,DB’s etc so no chance!!
I always thought Schneider stuff was good.

Schneider is many many brands gradually brought under the schneider name, some good some bad.
I love the Acti9 range and think it is the best TPN gear available, but don't get on with their Easi9 domestic boards.

Even something simple like cable clips can be different. You get Thorsman (great) and Tower (awful) brand clips both under the Schneider banner

I hate the TPN boards as I don’t like the earth bar location at the top of the board.
I don’t like clipping in the KQ range mcbs but they are safer perhaps to work on
I do like however their mccb panel boards with the slide and clip TMD range mccb’s

I had an argument with a gas engineer today. He had disconnected all the control cables for a gas monitoring system in a commercial kitchen and was claiming the panel was faulty after i had already gone out last week and told them the pressure differential switch is faulty, which we did not supply(new job, not open yet). He didn't even bother to label the cables he disconnected so i had to bell everything out before i could connect it back up.

He swore blind that he had continuity across the switch, then i saw his 'tester' https://tinyurl.com/y9nocx6n

An hour later we had a new pressure differential switch and everything was working

This is really disappointing, not a good move on Schneider's part. They make some decent kit and want to be seen as a premium end manufacturer, yet launch this. I mean, Hager & Siemens wouldn't do that.
