Anyone use Screwfix own brand batteries in test equipment?
My local has 8 for £1.59 (4+4 free)

Any thoughts good or bad?

cheers

I always use Duracell batteries for MFTs, no point using cheap batteries and getting into a bit of a spot when they run out half way through testing mate.

Yeah MDJ, need something pretty reliable. I want to stock up so I have a spare set in the van so don't look a muppet when MFT dies!

i get mine from cpc. if i'm stuck on a job. b&q or b&m.

ha. just today, was at the step-daughters. sudden bang, like a cracker. smoke alarm activated. turns out the duracell in the smoke alarm had exploded.

Duracell coppertop or procells for me, usually 1/2 used ones which have done a show or two in radio microphones.

This weeks show alone I will have got through 196 batteries.
