I have quick question. One of our security lights started flickering on and off on the day we had that heavy rain. We switched it off and then back on the next day but now it doesn't work. As soon as u switch light ON, bulb comes on and then goes off after like 2 seconds. But then that's it. It does not come on when it detects movement. It doesn't make that clicking noise like the other light. Do u think the sensor has gone faulty?

Hi Fida - yes it does seem that way. You've confirmed that power is still there and the bulb is still working, but the controller seems duff. Some possibility it may come good when it dries out (till it rains again ...).

Power is going to it and I don't think its the bulb but not 100% as it does come on for a second or two as soon as I switch the power to it. But I don't hear the clicking sound when there is movement in the dark. I've switched power off to it and give it a few days and try again. I'll try a new bulb too before calling an electrician

sounds like sensor has failed. change the whole thing for a 20watt LED jobby.
