Discuss Shaving socket in the Lighting Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

shaver sockets are usually fed from the lighting circuit. bear in mind that all circuits in a bathroom need to comply with section 701 of BS7671. esp as regards RCD protection.

Yes planning to do it my self
Then the forum should not advise you any more to be fair. All work needs doing to the requirements of BS7671 including cable design and calculation, testing and certification. Bathroom locations are treated as a special location as the risk for potential harm from shock is increased and as such more stringent requirements are in place. Work may also require legally notifying to the local building control dept.

You should get a local electrician to do this simple and probably cheap job for you.
