Shed clearout, old test meters

Anyone able to make use of these ?
Having a clearout and have an old insulation/continuity tester and a loop/rcd tester. Alphatek 1601 and Metrel 2120. The Metrel has a broken screen glass but functions.

Maybe good for showing the basics to a trainee or apprentice ?

They are of no use to me and haven't seen the light for many years. I hate to chuck usable things.

With the Alphatek set on 1000V what reading would you expect for good insulation resistance?

With the Alphatek set on 1000V what reading would you expect for good insulation resistance?

Upper range is stated as 4000Mohms. With leads in and separate it cycles through to 4500Mohms before displaying OL.
