Tidy Max

The Sunday night stella and pricing session is in mid flow and i am struggling to find a product for my needs!

A builder who i do work for is building a false wall for a customer to recess the tv into. each side of the tv has rows of shelves with cupboards underneath.

The customer wants to have spots recessed into each shelf. The shelf depth is 75mm.

I had been looking at the 12v 1w integrated down lighters but the price for them is pretty extortionate!

Any of you chaps used something similar?

Are they not about a tenner each ?

As an alternative someone posted here recently some channel that recesses into a shelf or under a cabinet then houses led strip. Looked quite neat.

They want polished chrome downlight for definite. I think you are referring to extrusion Andy, I do a raft of that stuff but unfortunately the customer doesn't want it.

Where have you seen them for a tenner?

Led extrusion recessed similar to the pics or failing that aurora M5's are only 60mm deep.

Then drivers to add. I have previously used Saxby ones from a local wholesaler that were about a tenner and the same again for the driver that powered 4 fittings. Would certainly recommend the Saxby ones.

Boom cheers Andy :) spot on.

Yeah that is the extrusion Andy, i like it personally. I fitted a shed load of it in a casino at dado rail height it was covered with frosted acrylic and we used pixel tape rather than LED tape. The effect was pretty awesome!!!

The only things i could find were integrated LEDs from LAP....... i have always avoided their stuff, the only LAP products that i will buy are dances!

Cheers tazz, i had looked at plinth/decking lights but thought they may be abit papp! Thanks for the suggestion. If these are too bright then these will be the next option! Thanks :)
