The BS 3036 came in 3 different variants, S1A, S2A & S3A, each with a different KA rating.

The more common of the 3 was the S2A which was rated to 2KA, it is impossible to tell for sure which is which though.

I always tend to err on the side of caution and use the S1A rating of 1KA.

The S3A was 4KA.
