Hi,

My god I seem to be doing a lot of TV set up's lately. Not one has been normal set up.

This one is for my local wholesalers manager.

He want's the following.

Sky+HD in Lounge
Sky+HD in his bedroom
Sky into kitchen and x4 bedrooms

Some rep has got it into his head that he needs it all running in Cat5e but Cat6 most prob (large runs)

He also wants the sky+HD ran off magic eye so there are no sky boxes in the rooms.

I've done one before where it was just SKY HD with magic eye from under the stairs(HD box, hdmi cable to spliter) into 2 rooms, it was just x2 cat 5e to each point one for the HD and the other for the magic eye. But does this mean he'll need x3 cat6 cables to the sky+HD points? Four cables with internet points too most prob.

Anyone got a diagram or just a little better explanation than I just gave :goofy:

He also wants a basic freeview into every room which is the only normal bit of the job. (coax)

Any help pwease

Not that particular make, but similar! We have trade account with them but never used as yet, not heard any bad reports from there equipment. Just remember to treat your cat5e-6 with care as poorly installed and you will have loads of problems when commissioning.

Ok thanks for the info

Is he you asking for multi room or just one sky box ? if the later then a CT100 out of RF2 to a remote splitter then to each room with a magic eye will do the same job and wont cost anything like as much
