Quick question about sky when moving house.

I don't have a sky subscription just use my box for freesat (if thats what you call it) anyway, moved to a new build block of flats plugged my two ends in to the sat point and no signal.

I took off the face plate and connected the cables straight into the back of the box, still no signal.

Traced the cables back to the booster/switch, whatever its called, in the riser cupboard and terminations seem good.

Am I being silly or i have to do something to the skybox? any ideas or anything i can test?

cheers

thats strange as vision is usually reliable stuff. Try getting an analogue signal(standard tv only) through the outlet too eliminate freesat box. Otherwise you really need a tv engineer with all the test kit as your Pi**ing in the wind otherwise. Could be damaged between the booster and outlet!
