Hi All,
Had a PV system installed today - 16 x 250w Sanyo panels (have had DNO permission to go over 3.68kw) and a SMA SB4000TL, so what settings should the inverter be set at - the installer has set it at 0 and 1 - but I have read somewhere that it should be set at 5 and 8, is that correct?

In the manual it says that setting to 5 and 8 means that it is set to G83/1 and has no grid guard protection, so does that mean it will allow the inverter to go over 3.68kw or restrict it to 3.68kw?

Thanks,
Wozza.

Get back in touch with your installer as they should be your first point of contact. Depending on what your DNO has stated, other setings may have been altered via the software.
