Hi need some help.
I have been asked to install interlinked smoke alarms on two floors plus a loft conversion. They require 3 alarms on each storey.
In the past I have installed hard wire linked alarms in a single storey.I have also installed in another premises radio linked alarms.I have not combined the two different methods of linking.
My question is can I install 2 hard wired alarms, hard wired to a radio alarm and radio link these to the next storey with a radio alarm hard wired to the next two alarms and then radio link to the loft extension with the last two alarms hard wired to this radio link.
The reason I ask is that 9 radio linked alarms is too expensive and acess to the first two storeys is prohibited by wooden floors.
thanks for any advice
